Cheltenham Art Club has been a valued presence in the town for over fifty years. It currently has over a hundred members.

The Club has a studio in Normandy House, which is large, airy and well equipped, where members of all abilities can enjoy painting together in a mutually supportive environment. Sessions are lighthearted and fun, with tea and coffee, and many friendships can develop.

Members can also take advantage of

  • An extensive Library is available for Members to browse and to borrow from. Please click here to see the list of publications.
  • regular workshops covering all aspects of painting media and techniques 
  • twice yearly exhibitions in Montpelier’s Gardens Gallery
  • organised plein air painting in the summer months

We also offer classes for non members who want to learn to paint.
