An introduction to painting and drawing with Alexandra Woods

An opportunity to be introduced to and explore a range of painting and drawing techniques and media with the expert guidance and encouragement of tutor and artist, Alexandra Woods. Alexandra will encourage and guide you through the activities, inspiring confidence to have a go and achieve in a friendly and supportive setting. The course will start with colour, collage and paint with a focus on colour mixing, composition and application of paint. This will then lead into pencil, inks and charcoal with a focus on shape, proportion, light and shade. All materials and equipment will be provided. Ideal for beginners and those wishing to refresh their skills. The group size is limited to 10 allowing for plenty of individual guidance and encouragement.
